Neuroplasticity in Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain: Achievements and Perspectives from Translational Pain Research

Satellite Symposium of the EFIC Meeting
Hamburg, Germany, 19-20 September 2011

Contact: Susanne Nielsen Lundis

EFIC LogoNeuroplastic changes are widely recognized as important mechanisms in the determination of pain states. Translation of this knowledge into clinical benefits is progressing. The aim of the symposium is to highlight translation of basic science in the field of neuroplasticity into clinical practice for better prevention and management of musculoskeletal pain. The symposium would provide clinicians with an update on the progresses and perspectives in pain research. Participants who are involved in research would have the opportunity of an exchange with scientists dealing with different fields of basic and clinical research.

The venue is situated right next to the Congress Center Hamburg where the  EFIC meeting will take place  in the heart of Hamburg, close to the railway station and easily reachable from the airport. The number of participants will be limited, in order to facilitate contacts and exchange.

We look forward to welcoming you in Hamburg.
